If so, I'm looking for you.

A few friends and I are collaborating on an idea that began as a long running gag and now has evolved into a full-fledged story. We want to commission somebody to draw it out. Doesn't need to be in color though that would be a huge plus. We are not selling this, and it will be web based, so you can complete it in chapters over time; there's no deadline or anything, we just ask that it be completed in a reasonable amount of time (meaning, you set your own deadlines and stick as close as possible to them). We're yet unsure how long this story will be. If you enjoy the work and we can fund it properly, it could be a very sizable project.

You need to be able to draw characters from Final Fantasy VI through X, and several popular Xmen and other characters, along with turning myself and my friends into (attractive) characters for the story. You need to be comfortable with a bit of gore, as death is dealt with, but you won't be asked to draw any nudity or anything sexual.

This will NOT be sold; it will be a free and web-based comic. It will also be a really great piece for a serious artist wanting to expand their portfolio.

If interested, please send me your information along with where we may see samples of your artwork and a general idea of the time that could be put into, say, a 10-14 page/chapter comic. If you could give me an idea of your hourly rates, or what you would ideally expect to complete the entire project, that would also be excellent. We are currently in complete storyline development stages, so I understand that a quote now doesn't necessarily reflect upon the future, as the amount of work we ask for might change. You would be paid a small retainer up front, and then a portion per chapter completed on time.

We may be able to trade other things versus paying you money. I have a server and would be happy to host and/or design your site for your art in trade. I also raise horses and stand a lovely arabian stallion; if you have a mare you want bred something might be worked out there too. If you have ideas, let us know, we're open to suggestions.
